Enjoy the unique views and fresh air on an open-top double decker bus in a tour full of photo opportunities and local tastings. Starting at the Port in Philipsburg, the Dutch-side capital of St. Maarten, and passing by the Great Salt Pond, we’ll take you through the countryside on the way to Marigot, the French-side capital, where you’ll have a photo-stop on a truly European atmosphere, having the waterside, open-air markets, quaint shops, boutiques or sidewalk cafes as your background. After your brief sojourn in Marigot we'll hop-on the Double Decker and we’ll take you through St. Maarten’s latest infrastructure addition, the Causeway Swing Bridge, where you can spot lovely sailboats and magnificent Mega-Yachts on the lagoon, depending on the time of year. Arriving at Maho Beach you may watch thrilling airplanes overhead as they are landing at the Princess Juliana international airport. The journey will proceed across the south for views of Simpson Bay Lagoon where we'll stop at a local Rhum Distillery for a free tasting of various flavors of rhum. Your experience concludes at the Amsterdam Cheese & Liquor store for a free tasting of Old Amsterdam Gouda Cheese and a sweet surprise to enjoy on your way back to ship.
